Bonne Année - Happy New Year - Šťastný Nový rok

Wishing a Happy New Year to all. In 2013 we will be feverishly painting up our units for the Austerlitz game. A veritable mountain of lead (and some hard plastic) awaits us. We're currently split into a team of 5 painters, and are focusing on the Order of Battle for the attack on Stare Vinohrady hill based on the General de Brigade Scenario. That will give us about 24 battalions in total to complete, plus skirmishers and artillery. Hopefully we will have some pictures of the first units in the coming month as we track to August.


The scan above is from the scenario, and gives an indication of how the terrain will look with a gradual 2 stepped ridge. The challenge is set, so on with the painting :-)
